Along with their conductor Eilir Owen Griffiths, CF1 have become one of the most successful choirs in Wales since their formation in 2002.

The choir is based in Cardiff – their name is the postcode of the area which they rehearse – but the members come from all four corners of Wales.

The choir have won several choral competitions at the Urdd Eisteddfod and they also won the Youth Choir section of S4C’s Choral Competition, Côr Cymru, in 2005.
