Wayzata Women's Chorus

Profile
We are mostly mature “middle-aged” women with a passion for singing and helping others. You might think of us as the Minnesota version of your “Calendar Girls”.
After visiting Llangollen we will be travelling to London wher we hope to do some spontaneous performing, perhaps on a street corner, an open church or even or in a pub. Who Knows? We simply love sharing our music with others.
Our professional goal whilst in Llangollen is to represent our city, state and country with confidence and pride. We hope to win the Women’s Choir and Folk Choir categories by expressing the unique joy and soulfulness of each selection.
Our personal goals are to enjoy the energy and kindness of the Welsh people and develop friendships with competing choirs. This is a celebration of the power of music to heal and inspire. Every day we are in Llangollen will be a special gift.
Upon returning from Llangollen we are also hoping to join forces with Twin Cities Public Television (TPT) to create a documentary about our experiences surrounding the Eisteddfod.
