We have been coming to Llangollen for years and it is a highlight of our year to take part in this fantastic event.
In order to fund our trip, we have had various fund raising events including a theatre production, where we had a full house of 400 people on both nights!
Every year we try to make good friends with competitors from other countries, and last year we formed great friendships with a German choir with whom we have been in contact throughout the year.
On a sad note, our bodhran (drum) player cannot be with us this year as he has to have a stem cell transplant. Seamus has been with our group for 18 years and is such a humble and warm human being. He is known world wide for his exquisite playing of the drum and will be sadly missed by us all.
We plan to continue promoting our Irish heritage and culture through our love of dance, and bring enjoyment to those who partake.
