Hoverla Ukrainian Dance Ensemble
Profile
The Ensemble was formed in 1972 in order to promote Ukrainian Culture and Traditions through dance and music in Derby.
We have toured extensivley throughout Europe and hope to tour Ukraine again in 2012 as well as participate at Ukrainian International Festivals in Canada and the USA in future years.
We have competed regularly at Llangollen and our greatest achievement so far is our 1st place back in 1986. We hope to give our children the opportunity to experience the colour, atmosphere and view the different cultures participating in Llangollen and perhaps even emulate their parents success of 1986!
