Jubilate

Profile
The group’s beginnings lie at Kingsbury High School in Brent. The school’s choir became very successful in the mid-1980s, winning many competitions including the Llangollen Eisteddfod.
On leaving school it seemed natural to carry on singing together as a choir, and achievements soon began to include reaching the semi-finals of Sainsbury’s Choir of the Year and appearing on the television programme, Opportunity Knocks.
In the 1990′s, the choir moved to Harrow and officially became known as Jubilate. Sarah Stroh took over as Musical Director in 1999 and since then the choir has seen significant growth, doubling in size to iover 40 members. There are still some original members of the choir, who have been singing together for more than twenty-five years!
