Profile

Musical Original was founded in 1989 by Imogen Nichols. It is one of the largest private singing schools in the British Isles with over 100 students aged 7-18 attending weekly classes.

We are travelling to Llangollen with two choirs and we hope the experience of competing woith similarly dedicated young singers from all over the world will inspire our choirs.

In 2009 we won the Gold Award for Childrens’ Choirs at the Young Prague Choral Festival as well as winning the Silver Award in the Youth Choirs category.

We were placed 5th out of 16 chamber choirs in the Rimini International Choral Competition, and in 2010 we were awarded ‘Choir of the Day’ in the BBC Choir of the Year.
