Since making a huge impression on the choral world by reaching the finals of the BBC’s Last Choir Standing Competition, Glanaethwy have become one of Wales’ most popular choirs.
The choir are familiar faces at the Eisteddfod in Llangollen, winning multiple awards over the years.
The choir travelled to the Pan Celtic Festival, Carlow in 2012 and returned home with an impressive five awards. They were successful in the Female Choir, Youth Choir, Mixed Choir and Singing to Accompaniment categories. At the end of the competition, the Female Choir were awarded with the title Choir of the Festival.
