St. Albans High School for Girls has a very strong musical tradition with excellent instrumental and choral ensembles. Many students at the school study music both at GCSE and A level. The school is fortunate to be located so near to the Abbey and Catheldral of St. Albans which provides numerous opportunities throughout the school year for the students to sing in this beautiful place of worship. Many of the girls sing and play in ensembles both at county and national level.
