Hi Alan
Many thanks for your kind comments regarding the Choir, and glad that you are supporting the Eisteddfod and interested in the unique and wonderful tradition of Male Choirs.
If you knew the choir well, you would understand why our concerts are filled with ‘something for everybody’, (naturally, you were only able to see us in ‘compeition mode’ at Llangollen, which is quite different from our normal choir life!).
So, to that end, I would personally like to invite you and a guest to any of our concerts in the future to convince you that attending a WMC concert will leave you wishing to come back for more!!
I am sure that you will then also see and hear the ‘passion’ which we weren’t able to convey to you on the recordings.
I look forward to meeting you at some time in the near future.
Kind regards

Interesting to listen to the male choir competition; no doubt that Wessex were immaculately well drilled and sang every note in the right order etc etc. It was the least passionate and least stirring of the performances in my opinion. The Rhos choir were much more musical for my ear, not as perfect but I wouldn’t want to go to a Wessex concert. Just my five cents but for some amazing mathematics (pitch and rhythm) well done Wessex

As a supporter of Pontarddulais choir for several years it seems sad initially that this was the only choir in the competition that we couldn’t hear. Indeed knowing the quality and background of the group, there is an air of conspiricy about the fact that while the choir achieved 3rd place in the competition there is no vocal record of their performance that we can hear to mqake our own judgement [No conspiracy, just a technical problem with the video file that we hope will be resolved shortly — Rondo]

Welll done to the New Forest Children’s Choir for such an amazing performance at their first ever Eisteddfod. You sounded beautiful and were pipped at the post by one point, with some very strong competition! Congratulations for such an outstanding performance.

I was wondering why there was no video of the announcing of the winners and giving of the Pavarotti Trophy. Is it still to come? [Sorry, we only have videos of the groups' performances I'm afraid — Rondo Media]

I’m wondering if its possible to buy a copy of Aanchel Gupta’s CD/DVD of solo performances. Also i would like to know if we can post the videos on youtube. Thanks [Sorry, the videos are only available to watch on llangollen.tv — Rondo Media]
