I think the Wessex Male Choir are the best choir i have seen. The songs had great timing and tone and they deserved the marks and win.

Well done to the Johnstown juniors school choir at llan last Thursday. I am proud of all the choir and also big thank you to mr smith and mr pullen for teaching us so well to perform at llan. We came 7th out of 12 choirs from all around the world!!!!! And it was our first attempt at llan is a massive achievement for us. The winning choir was ysgol gerdd ceredigion who were fantastic but they were a performing school and were a village school choir!!! A very well done Johnstown!!!!

Anyway the English choir were musically and technically far better than the others.

Only Mansfield offered a peformance to rival, but still not match, that of wessex.

Congrats to them – they brought life to it and were deserved winners. Adjudicators – spot on!!

How the Rhos Male Voice Choir didn’t win the Male Voice competition I’ll never know. They and Pontarddulais were miles ahead of Wessex.

Heartfelt congratulations to the AUP Ambassadors and their wonderful director! The Affinity Show Choir are a new choir, celebrating our first birthday at the Eisteddfod, and were very honoured to share the same stage as such polished and beautiful singers. Be very proud!
